MAC!

Hello guys! I know I haven't wrote on here for a while, but I'm going to try and post more. Recently it's been my 18th birthday, which is very exciting and I had the best day. On the Saturday my birthday fell on I went into Manchester to do some shopping with the money I had received to pick up some products I have wanted for a long time, and one of them products were of course, a MAC lipstick. Now I spent a good amount of time at the actual MAC counter desperately wanting to find a nice colour that I knew I would use. I look at nudes, pinks and brighter colours too but just couldn't decide. In the end I decided to go with a classic red. I didn't know whether to go with Ruby woo or Russian Red but in the end, I went with Russian Red.

This is my first ever MAC lipstick and I am in love with it. It sits at the front of my lipstick holder so I can admire the packaging and the fact I have my very own MAC lipstick. I have the 'matte' lipstick, and the women from the counter said it's really good and lasts all day. I wore this colour that night and got many compliments so I knew I had made the right choice. For those of you who may not have a MAC lipstick, I definitely recommend you buy one! If you think the £14 price tag is a bit steep (which I agree it is) save up! or do what I did and wait until a special occasion.

Complexion perfection | Latest in beauty

So, after ordering my samples from latest in beauty, I also checked out the special collections (boxes which you pay for) and I found a perfect one for me. It's called the complexion perfection box and it's full of makeup products. I payed around £12 for this not inc p&p but still good for what I payed. I got a sample size of the 'they're real' benefit mascara. I also got a sample size of 'inika mineral foundation'. But in full sizes, I got a pixi cheek gel in shade peachy which I love. I also got a Daniel Sandler eyeliner in black. I also got a mineral eyeshadow. and finally a vintage cosmetics company eyeshadow brush. So overall I am very happy with this purchase and will definably check the special collections out in future.

Latest in beauty

Oooo, what could these little black boxes be? Samples of course!! I ordered off the latest in beauty website and ordered my 4 free samples per box. I was very happy with the range of different products there were this time. I recommend you visit this site and get your samples!!

These are just some of the samples I got in the boxes. I got 5 more of the 'lavera faces' which are face creams which I loved last time I got them! I also got 2 samples of some floral face creams. Also, some estee Lauder advance night repair. I defiantly think you guys should check out this website.

'Benefit' blush dupe for £3.50!

Hello again guys, I have recently been doing some online bargain hunting to buy and share with you guys. Guess what I found? A benefit blush dupe. Like not just the colour dupe, the actual packaging too!  I bought this off amazon and it cost me around £3.50. I will link below for you to look. Now it's made from a brand called 'W7' which I have heard about before and all their products are very cheap. Not only did they do this blush that is very similar to benefit blushes they did bronzers and duos and gift sets too! I got the candy floss face brightening powder and it's what I fancied and I love it! It's good quality and comes with its own cute little brush (just like benefit) and It's a very pleasing purchase. It comes in a box which isnt too big and it's very good quality. I think i'm going to get the bronzer too!! Very pleased. You should go check it out.

MUA haul!!

Hello again! So, recently I made a purchase off the MUA makeup website and wanted to share my purchases and thoughts with you guys. I got 5 items because as I have never tried MUA before I wanted to see what quality was like etc. Before I start I'd like to share that I am going to order more as I am so pleased with what I got. So, if you'd like to see what I got and what I think, read on.

Here is a picture showing you all the things I got from MUA.
Firstly, lets start with these two. I got a 'matte perfect foundation' in the shade 'fair'. I got this because as far as I know I've never tried a matte foundation before so figured I probably should. This cost me around £2 I think. But it's from the 'new' range on the website. ( All this makeup is very cheap BUT affordable for anyone). I have tried the foundation and I am very impressed. It's not greasy or heavy/thick  like other cheaper foundations I have tried. I am very pleased and will defiantly repurchase this item. It applies smoothly and is a good colour match for me.

Next, I got the 'hide and conceal' stick which is a concealer. This cost me £1 and is also in the shade fair. The only bad comment I have about this is that the packaging is cheap (Idk how but just feels it) but  what can you expect for a pound? It applies really well and so far so good for covering any imperfections.

Next, I got the 'famous' MUA blush for £1. I have seen many people rave about this and also MUA themselves say this is a good product for the price. I have noticed the packaging for MUA blushes have improved and indeed look alot better than older ones. I have tried this today and it looks great. I love how it looks and you don't need alot to actually be able to see the colour on your cheek. I got this in shade 1, which is the best shade obviously as it's always sold out online. But I am very pleased with this product and will maybe try out different shades in the future.

Lipstick for £1? Really? YES. I love it. I got shade 6 out of a variety of different shades which is a pink colour with a little blue undertone. It applies really smoothly and has a nice finish, not sticky or anything like crappy cheap lippies and I am really impressed with this. It also has a little pot for backup on the bottom!! How cute. But I will defo be purchasing some more, all the shades!! haha. I recommend this lots.

Lastly, my most exciting product. The new 'undress me too' eyeshadow palette. (As you can see from the picture I have already destroyed one eyeshadow with my heavy handed hands) I absolutley love this. It's supposed to be an exact copy of the urban decay naked 2 palette, and from looking at the shades and names I very much agree with this. The shades are all neutral's and I love them. This cost me £4 and was a bargain in comparison to the urban decay one.

So, that's all. I have done a video of my haul and showing you my products on my you tube channel so please check it out.

Samples!!

So, since starting my blog/youtube channel I figured the best way to discover new products and if I like them or not was to try out samples! (smaller versions of the product for those who don't know) Overtime, I have collected lots of samples, most used but I have managed to get some together to do a small reveiw on some and tell you guys where to find them! TIP: Samples are also good for traveling!! Collect shampoo's/creams for when you go away or out for the night and they are good alternatives to carrying a full bag of products. Firstly, my favorite way to collect and try new samples is from magazines. You can get certain 'special' fashion/beauty magazines that come with a free sample inside! You can get these from supermarkets or wherever sells a variety of mags. Now in the past I have seen samples being from good brands such as 'benefit' and so on but I have only managed to buy ones that come with creams etc. The good thing about magazine samples is you can get makeup one time and a hair product the next. So great for trying out new things! ( From the picture above, I have received a 'Jergens ultra healing cream' )

Now, another way to collect samples is to look online. Simple type in on Google 'free samples' and normally you'll find lots of different brands offering their gooodness to you!! ( From the picture above I have received the 'Garnier moisture match cream x3 )

Also, Look for sample websites. Now the obvious ones are 'glossy box' and so on but you have to pay!! No one likes to pay. So I found a website called 'lastest in beauty' and as well as selling samples/products for money they also do something called 'a little black box' which you choose 4 samples from of different varietys of products and they send them to you, for free! You can also get mens samples from there to treat your loved one, just like I did. But I recommend this lots as they tend to change the samples every month.

So, I hope this helps for anyone who is a sample hoarder like me!!

Thanks guys

Muji storage excitiment!

Hello again guys! I haven't been posting much because I'm so paranoid that I am 'talking to myself' as in, no one looks at my blog!! arggh. But I figured if I start posting more I may not feel that way. So for a long time now I have seen beauty guru's around you tube and blogs rave about Muji storage and I was unsure whether to check them out. BUT, I finally got the courage to order some, I was unsure whether they'd be value for money but I am very pleased with my purchase. I ordered 2 x of the 2 drawers 'wide' and a acrylic pen pot (for my makeup brushes). I ordered the 2 drawers as I wanted a higher/deeper draw to hold more makeup so I figured i'd start my collection with this. I also purchased a lipstick/other makeup product holder off amazon which I love too! All of it is clear acrylic so modern and clean etc. I have posted a youtube video of what the things look like and my first impressions, so i'd love for you to check it out.

Thanks guys
